Last View: Hell in reverse
21/09/11 || Smalley
I found very little about Last View’s background in my Internet searching, but if “Hell in reverse” is any reliable indicator of their future direction, I won’t be hearing much more about them in the future; this is cookie-cutter, paint-by-numbers metalcore for the most part, with the expected grating, strangled-chicken yelling/Cookie Monster growls/gang vocals, predictable songwriting with the mandatory breakdowns and At The Gates-ripoff riffs, without the more melodic moments of some of their peers that could have broken up some of the tedium. That’s all I have to say for (and all you should read about) this one.
4.5/10: Read once and let this review be your last view of Last View.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
